Biography
Niko Maroulianakis graduated from Indiana University with a “Highest Distinction” designation, earning his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. He then earned his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude, in the top 8% of his class. Niko joined Dickinson & Gibbons, P.A. as an associate after graduating from Stetson. His area of practice is general civil litigation.
While at Stetson, Niko gained valuable litigation experience as a law clerk in a distinguished Tampa civil litigation firm as well as a well-known criminal defense firm in St. Petersburg. He honed his skills during his externship at the prosecutor’s office in Clearwater. Niko was also a member of the Stetson Law Review where he wrote his own law review article focusing on Florida’s proposed sports gambling legislation. Niko was awarded the Highest-Grade designation in both his Trial Advocacy and Jury Selection skills courses, as well as receiving 4.0 grades in Federal Civil Procedure, Complex Civil Litigation, and Criminal Law.
Niko is a member of the Florida Bar, Sarasota County Bar Association, and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association. For fun, Niko enjoys lifting weights, playing and watching sports, as well as video games.
